new years

our new year's was a blast. well it actually was. mainly because i got to bed on time & felt quite rested at the set of 2008. we reveled in a rapturous game of pick up sticks. haha. i seldom drink, so one beer got me good & wasted. then we kicked back with some episodes of friends. this may sound bizarre, but we enjoy doing this sort of stuff....

Sorry for the lack of posting lately, I’ve just been at a weekend seminar/family get-together in joburg…where we stayed at the most divine places & got to listen to the most spirited, gorgeous Italian guy inspire us all weekend to achieve our potential, help others & make our dreams come true….what can I possibly do but OBEY! Yes sir! Unfortunately I didn’t take notes since the main speaker was such eye candy, which I actually regret insanely…I will look into getting his cd when it comes out & see if I can glean some nuggets for you to read….but wow….apart from the trip to & fro which involved 5-7 grown people & a very pissed off 2 year old, oh and the doo-doos mid-seminar engulfing toddler from head to foot while I had no extra clothes for her & only ice-cold water in the taps, oh and the night where I had to sing ‘animal babies’ practically all night (and I don’t even know the words) -I have to say the weekend was breathtaking.
